Build a testimonial wall on your own domain

Your members post wins every week, and then those wins scroll away for good. Catch them from Skool's own menu and put them on a page at proof.yourbusiness.com.

Premium: a testimonial page on your domain

PortalPremium

  1. Open Testimonials in the left sidebar, go to Your Pages and click New Page.
  2. Fill in Page Name and Slug, then click Create. Create stays greyed out until the slug check finishes.
  3. Set the Heading, Subheading, Theme, Layout, Card Style and CTA Button Text.
  4. Under Custom Domain, click Add domain and attach a web address you own.
  5. Click Form next to the page's tabs to open its public form, and share that link with members who want to write one. It includes a star rating.
You end up with: A testimonial page on a domain you own, with a public form members can fill in. Testimonial pages are unlimited on Premium.
Works on Premium and up.

Skout quest

Earns Skout the Trophy.

Done when: One of your testimonial pages has 3 approved testimonials.

A Premium quest. On any Skool page, click Skout, then Quests.

Watch out

  • A captured post is stored with a full-score rating (5 of 5 or 10 of 10) even though nobody rated it. If your page shows an average score, every captured post pulls it to maximum.
  • Publish Now skips approval. It is live the moment you press it.
  • A captured post is a snapshot. If the member edits or deletes the original, your testimonial keeps what it captured.
  • Ask before you publish someone's words. A public post is not permission to put them on a sales page, and Skooly does not ask for you.
  • Capturing needs the extension. Approving works anywhere on the website.
  • The MCP's post search matches titles and author names only, not post bodies. Comment search does read the comment text.
  • Content Studio has no help article yet. The tab and export options above come from the code.
